"Waiting On" Wednesday: Wrapped and Strapped (Blacktop Cowboys #7) by Lorelei James

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights eagerly-anticipated upcoming releases.

Title: Wrapped and Strapped
Book Series: Blacktop Cowboys, Book 7
Author: Lorelei James (Twitter)
Genres: Western, Contemporary, Erotic Romance, Cowboys, Cowgirls
Release Date: September 1, 2015
In the new Blacktop Cowboys® Novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Hillbilly Rockstar strange bedfellows find common ground after the lights go down…

Flower child, vegetarian and humanitarian Harlow Pratt and gruff and strapping cattle ranch foreman Hugh Pritchett have been taunting each other for years. Hugh thinks she’s nothing but a spoiled rich girl, and he’s had enough of that life with his ex-wife. Harlow thinks Hugh is an ill-mannered trouble-maker who wouldn't know fun if it bit him on his tight denim-clad butt.

When they’re forced together at the Split Rock Ranch and Resort, everything changes. They might be polar opposites, but working out their differences skin to skin, in the dark, seems to help their incompatibility a lot. But when trouble from both their pasts comes calling, Harlow and Hugh have no one else to lean on. Can they trust one another enough to make it through the hard times together… or will their tentative truce fall apart?

Why I Picked It:  This is one of my favorite series, so I'll be catching all the books until the very end. I'm really excited that it's Hugh; love the quite ones.

2015 Audiobook Challenge - 2nd Quarter Update

The Book Nympho

For those who don't know,  the Audiobook Challenge is hosted by The Book Nympho and Hot Listens. The rules are pretty simplelisten to audiobooks. My Participation Level is that of a Marathoner, which translates to my committing to read 50+ audiobooks this year.

So far, I'm at 17 audiobooks read. My problem has been re-listening to books I've already read. I'm currently going back through the Psy/Changeling series by Nalini Singh whilst at work, which if they were new books, would give me about 8 more books. Must... stop.... but the pull to fall back into the series is strong

Currently, I'm reading Grey by E.J. James. And I must say, Zachary Webber is becoming a favorite of mine, falling into the "must read all narrations" category. His portrayal of Christian is HOT!!! And can I say that I'm not sure if James' writing style has improved or if its just Christian's perspective, but Grey is 1,000 times better than 50 Shades of Grey. No inner goddess + no "what" exclamations every five minutes = a happy Page.

Next on tap will be Armada by Ernest Cline.
