Hosted by Sugar & Snark

Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite cover’s with that characteristic.

#5
Title:  Dust to Dust
Series:  Experiment in Terror, Book #9
Authors:  Karina Halle (FacebookTwitter)
Genre:  New Adult, Paranormal Romance, Horror

**The dramatic conclusion to the Experiment in Terror Series.**
Perry Palomino and Dex Foray.

On their own, they’re uniquely brilliant. Together, they’re an unstoppable team.

Until now.

Because after everything the duo has encountered, they haven’t come across an evil quite like this. An evil that has been years in the making, an evil that will stop at nothing until they, and everyone they care for, are destroyed.

Dex and Perry’s love has survived a multitude of sins.

But can it survive the end?

Why I Picked It: Simply gorgeous.  I'm a sucker for a good lens flare.

Title:  Infinite
Series:  Incarnate/Newsoul, Book #3
Author:  Jodi Meadows (Facebook | Twitter)
Genre:  YA, Dystopian, Paranormal

DESTRUCTIONThe Year of Souls begins with an earthquake—an alarming rumble from deep within the earth—and it’s only the first of greater dangers to come. The Range caldera is preparing to erupt. Ana knows that as Soul Night approaches, everything near Heart will be at risk.

FLIGHTAna’s exile is frightening, but it may also be fortuitous, especially if she can convince her friends to flee Heart and Range with her. They’ll go north, seeking answers and allies to stop Janan’s ascension. And with any luck, the newsouls will be safe from harm’s reach.

CHOICE
The oldsouls might have forgotten the choice they made to give themselves limitless lifetimes, but Ana knows the true cost of reincarnation. What she doesn’t know is whether she’ll have the chance to finish this one sweet life with Sam, especially if she returns to Heart to stop Janan once and for all.

With gorgeous romance and thrilling action, the final book in the Incarnate trilogy offers a brilliant conclusion to the compelling questions of this fascinating world, where one new girl is the key to the lives of millions.

Why I Picked It: Another pick because it's gorgeous. I love the color gradient; so much like a peacock. I love the feathers around her eyes.

Title:  Succubus Revealed
Series:  Georgina Kincaid, Book #6
Author:  Richelle Mead (Facebook | Twitter
Genre:  Urban Fantasy, Paranormal

In Georgina Kincaid, succubus and she-demon, #1 New York Times bestselling author Richelle Mead has created one of her most enticing characters. But with a shot at love, and maybe even redemption, is the ultimate seductress finally going soft? Like hell she is. . .

Georgina Kincaid has had an eternity to figure out the opposite sex, but sometimes they still surprise her. Take Seth Mortensen. The man has risked his soul to become Georgina's boyfriend. Still, with Lucifer for a boss, Georgina can't just hang up her killer heels and settle down to domestic bliss. In fact, she's being forced to transfer operations. . .to Las Vegas.

The City of Sin is a dream gig for a succubus, but Georgina's allies are suspicious. Why are the powers-that-be so eager to get her away from Seattle and from Seth? Georgina is one of Hell's most valuable assets, but if there's any way out of the succubus business she plans to take it, no matter how much roadkill she leaves behind. She just hopes the casualties won't include the one man she's risking everything for. . .

Why I Picked It: Just as much as I loved the beginning of Georgina's journey, I loved the end. This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it wrapped everything up in a good way. Wasn't rushed and was satisfying. i was ready to put these characters to bed in a warm and fuzzy place, and move on to more Urban Fantasy series.

Series: Darkest Powers, Book #3
GenreYA, Supernatural, Werewolves, Ghosts, Witches

Chloe Saunders is fifteen and would love to be normal. Unfortunately, Chloe happens to be a genetically engineered necromancer who can raise the dead without even trying. She and her equally gifted (or should that be 'cursed'?) friends are now running for their lives from the evil corporation that created them.

As if that's not enough, Chloe is struggling with her feelings for Simon, a sweet-tempered sorcerer, and his brother Derek, a not so sweet-tempered werewolf. And she has a horrible feeling she's leaning towards the werewolf...

Definitely not normal.

Why I Picked It: Again, there is no other pick for me. This series is easily my favorite YA series. I love the heroine, Chloe, and the journey she goes on with each of the characters. Especially Derek, who was my first book boyfriend :)
